Scope of Services

The contractual activity of luxfahrt.ch comprises commercial passenger transport upon order by the customer. Contractual services include the safe transport of the agreed number of passengers with their luggage at the agreed pickup time to the agreed destination. Other services such as child seats (up to 4 years), excess luggage, bulky baggage and the transport of animals must be agreed separately and requested during booking.

Booking Process

A booking can be made by phone at +41791234567 or online via https://luxfahrt.ch at least 5 hours before pickup. After receipt of your order, your booking will be confirmed as soon as possible. By placing an order, the customer accepts our terms and conditions. The transport contract is only valid once the booking has been confirmed by luxfahrt.ch. Telephone bookings are confirmed by SMS or email. The customer is obliged to verify the accuracy of the details provided and is responsible for their correctness.

Pickup

The customer must allow for deviations of +/- 10 minutes from the agreed pickup time and must be reachable by phone at least 30 minutes in advance. The confirmed flat rate must be paid in full in this case. In the unlikely event that luxfahrt.ch cannot meet the pickup time due to unforeseen circumstances, luxfahrt.ch cannot be held liable for any additional costs incurred.

Airport Pickup

As a rule, passengers are met in the arrivals area of the specified flight before the exit (customs) with a personalised name sign. Passengers who do not appear at the agreed meeting point will be contacted by the chauffeur by phone.

If the passenger does not respond or cannot be reached and no new meeting point can be agreed, the right to the transfer is forfeited.

Liability Notice

No liability is accepted for delays due to force majeure (accident, breakdown, traffic jams). Property damage is only liable if caused by gross negligence or intent. luxfahrt.ch accepts no liability for any damage to luggage or its contents.

Luggage

The transport of excess or bulky baggage, e.g. bicycles, surfboards, skis, diving equipment, must be declared in advance and can only be transported free of charge if space is available and the items are securely packed.

Child Seats, Transport of Animals

Maxi-Cosi and booster seats for children are provided free of charge by luxfahrt.ch if requested during booking and available. For the transport of animals, where space is available and agreed, the passenger must provide the necessary legally required transport equipment (e.g. pet carrier).

Cancellation and Rebooking

Cancellation or rebooking must be made in writing (email). A rebooking is only valid if confirmed by luxfahrt.ch. Passengers may cancel their booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the pickup time.

Prices and Surcharges

The flat rates calculated and confirmed by luxfahrt.ch apply. The fare per vehicle consists of the base fee, included kilometres and additional kilometres, plus any airport and night surcharges. The fare is fixed in the written booking confirmation. Unannounced intermediate stops must be paid according to the additional transport costs incurred.

Payment

The flat rate is to be paid directly to the chauffeur after completion of the journey, or — if selected during online booking — in advance by credit card via our payment provider Stripe. Payment to the chauffeur is usually in cash or by card (EC, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, Amex). For invoice customers, CHF 5.00 administration costs are charged in addition to the fare. Invoices must be paid within 10 days of receipt.

Data Protection

luxfahrt.ch stores and uses personal data only for processing and fulfilling customer orders. Personal customer data and information will not be passed on to third parties for marketing purposes. Click here for more information.
